Hi there!
I have been a massage therapist for 12 years now... WOW... time flies! I have completed over a thousand hours of training that includes therapeutic massage, advanced polarity therapy, cranio sacral therapy, cupping, Thai Massage and Reiki. I have worked in a high end spa, done in home massage for injury/surgery recovery, in home for an immobile client, and events ranging from chiropractic offices, yoga workshops, schools, office buildings, fundraisers and for musicians! Massage is one of the most ancient and natural forms of therapy. So much to branch off and learn in this field and I look forward to adding more techniques to the list!
As much as I love this work, I like other things too...
Music and dancing!
Traveling! Whether it's with friends, family or myself, long or short trips,- it's good to get away to a new or different place. Not only does it give us a break from our everyday lives but it can help give us a new sense of perception. It gives us an opportunity to learn more about ourselves. It enriches our lives by making memories, creating friendships, learning to really live in the moment and so much more.
Yoga. It has been so beneficial to me in so many ways- physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I've gained a great deal of confidence and decreased a lot of pain in my body since I started practicing. My mental focus is sharper, I feel a deeper sense of calm but energized feeling throughout my days. Growing up I was a gymnast and coached for about 7 years which was pretty hard on my body- much respect to those who still do it! I can still do handstands
I enjoy making fresh meals, eating fresh fruit, drinking tea and some coffee, dark chocolate of course and occasionally indulging in some delicious meals or desserts. Life is all about balance, right?
The beach. That fresh, salty air... the sound of the waves... wind and sun on your skin... it never gets old to me! And the mountains. I love hiking and being surrounded by trees. It's so peaceful and grounding. And walking barefoot when possible is a plus.
Family Spending time with my family and loved ones.. including pets.. is so important to me.
Spending time in nature, walking or biking in the woods. There is something about surrounded by trees, brooks and the mountains. That connection without technology feels so good, and it's healthy for us to "disconnect" from the tech world to reconnect with our true nature.
I enjoy a bit of reading as well.
Animals, especially kitties! Love my cats, and dogs of course.
Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me. I am so grateful to be doing something I enjoy and helping people enhance their lives and well being. Life can be challenging at times and is continuously changing, so I am constantly reminding myself to "ride the wave" and stay focused on my goals no matter how big or small. I wish only to help people relax and feel better in their body in a safe, comfortable, clean space. To inspire a deeper and more loving/healing connection to your body & soul.
